Combined Instrumentation Training Course for Instrument Technician or Instrument Tech

Industrial Training School provides this training course titled "Instrumentation" for an instrument tech or an instrumentation technician who has some experience. This instrumentation training course is a combined course of Part-1 and Part-2 meant for instrumentation people who have been on the job for a short period, but not completely new to the field. As a distant learning training course the Instrument technician or instrument techs should be working under the direction of a supervisor to get the most from the training by distant learning.

This instrumentation training course by distant learning applies to the following industries or places of work:

  • Industrial - Steel Making
  • Commercial Buildings
  • Waster Treatment Plant
  • Pulp and Paper
  • Steam Power Plant
  • Cement Plant
  • Paper Mill
  • Heating and Chiller Facilities - CHP
  • Oil and Gas Industry
  • Chemical and Petro - Chemical Plant
  • Universities and Colleges
  • Public Schools - K to Grade-12
  • Forest Products
  • GSA and DOD

In addition, this instrumentation training course addresses common instrumentation topics as well as tests the student for comprehension of the material presented in the training course textbook. Further, it will provide student knowledge to help develop analysis and problem solving skills by combining ideas and information from various topics into practical applications. This course consists of 20 Lessons and students will be quizzed on each lesson. This course does not require access to a computer, but is a distant learning course in the format of a correspondence course by mail.
